Easter has become a time to celebrate the beginnning of Spring and the simple egg is a symbol of new life, so what better way to celebrate than painting brightly coloured Easter eggs!
Even though spring has already started in Japan, we all felt happy when we saw the finished eggs.
After the eggs had been hard boiled for about 25 minutes we had to design our eggs, although of course everyone just wanted to get our pens and start straight away!
Before we start of course we have to remember not to drop our eggs...BUT suddenly..."OH NO!" everyone was surprised when we heard the SMASH of the egg!
But we won't say who dropped the egg...!!
The 1st and 2nd years decided to decorate their eggs simply but stylishly! The rabbit is the symbol of spring, and the pink rabbit looks great on the egg, don't you think?
One egg is decorated with ABC, what a great connection to English class!
The last egg is painted with a mysterious W (or is it an M?) can you guess what it means?
All of the 4th years eggs are colourful and interesting!
From the cute panda eggs to the pencil drawn egg, they are all interesting aren't they?
The boys seem to like the "half coloured egg" style, maybe they were thinking about the colours inside the egg...?
From yellow to blue, everyone is expressing their personality with the egg!
Finally we have the 5th and 6th year eggs, they are so artisitc and bright!
We have a Doraemon egg, the Chuo Line egg (the train runs around the egg!) the beautiful yellow flower egg, the stripy egg (which took everyone's cooperation to draw) and the lovely big pink flower egg.
Good job everyone!
Don't forget to throw them away before they start to smell!
Please read next time to see how everyone's theme study is going!
