〜Unit Summary（テーマ概要）
In this Unit we will be looking at how animals can be classified by many characteristics. (Form) We will learn how animals live in many types of environments. (Function) Finally, we will be learning how animals require certain things to survive. (Connection)
This Unit will be a way for our learners to learn about how animals are similar to humans and have needs too. We will look at the anatomy, habitats of each animal and compare them. Our learners will also learn about each animals’ family. We will also learn about the animal’s purpose in life through predator and prey. Lastly, our learners will take their newly acquired knowledge to compare themselves to each animal and find the animal akin to themselves. They will then present about how they are similar to said animal and the requirements for the animal to grow and stay healthy.
