【Central idea】Learning about ourselves helps us to understand and connect with ourselves and others in the world.
〜Unit Summary（テーマ概要）
This Unit was a way for learners to explore the wonderful things about themselves and others. Building self-confidence and self-understanding were key aspects in this Unit, but we also wanted to learn how to be active listeners. This was part of the “Love” Spirit of the Unit – showing love by listening to others share about themselves and vice versa. This was facilitated through “Show and Tell” during circle time where we introduced our favorite things to each other.
Throughout the unit, we will learn vocabulary to express our likes and dislikes using simple phrases. We practiced sharing our thoughts and explored our beliefs, values, health, and relationships with our families.
