Science major, with secondary eduation teaching license acquired. After graduating, worked in Uganda as a science, math, and ICT educator through JICA’s Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers. After returning to Japan, worked in an environmental research company however, became independent due to having an interest in multiple fields of learning. Nicknamed as “Afurika No Oniisan”*, went on to take part in activities to spread the fun of learning science and math in Japan and Africa. Currently at TCS while with an interest in touching upon the field of inquiry.
*a play on English and Japanese words: English (Afu from Africa) and Japanese (rika from science).
The world can be an intersting place. The world can also be a boring place. In the end, it’s up to you to see it as either one.
