【Central idea】People have different feelings that can change for different reasons.
〜Unit Summary（テーマ概要）
Feelings are something we experience at every moment of our lives. It may be strong feelings, of happiness, sadness, anger, disappointment, or just a quiet feeling of relaxation, focus, contentment – in any case, there is a feeling of some kind at every moment of our experience. Since we harbour our feelings in our bodies, our physical state and being plays a significant part in how we experience our feelings. And as children, we come to gradually understand our feelings, and as our awareness of our feelings increase, so does our awareness and appreciation of the feelings of others. And as we better understand our bodies and physical states, the more we can recognise different physical – and emotional – states in others. We will explore performance and theatre arts to explore how we can be more aware of our bodies, and how we can better express ourselves and our feelings. This Unit is all about understanding ourselves, and others, better, so that we can better express our various feelings in positive ways. It is anticipated that through exploration of our inner worlds, we can connect with our outside world in better and more meaningful ways.
