〜Unit Summary（テーマ概要）
This Unit is an inquiry into the ways we observe, discover and share the changes made in nature. While living our busy lives we see the nature that surrounds us, however we do not get the chance to actually stop and fully enjoy all its treasures. Observation and documentation allow us to appreciate the beauty of plants and explore in depth the natural world. What types of plants are there? What color are they? Are they all the same? The children are on a mission to find different types of plants, choose several and then record all the changes noticed in an Observation Diary for a period of 6 weeks. Close observation of the plants in their environment, and becoming “friends” with the plants, will undoubtedly allow the children to foster a new love and appreciation for their natural environment.
