〜Unit Summary（テーマ概要）
In this Unit we will be exploring the neighborhood in search of bridges and learning about the important role they have in our lives. Learners will come to understand how we need bridges to travel safely, not only so that we can access resources, but so we can connect with different people as well.
We will take long walks around our school in search of bridges, giving learners the opportunity to study the structure and observe the characteristics of nearby bridges. They will experience hands-on how bridges can connect us to the people, things and places in our community. Additionally, we will sing songs and read stories about bridges!
By the end of the Unit, learners will be able to identify various kinds of bridges, describe the materials used in crafting them and gain awareness of the necessary role bridges play in our everyday life. Moreover, learners will come to understand the critical way bridges help us access resources, avoid obstacles, stay safe and bring us together!
